Who We Are
Summit Community Church strives to be a family of believers in Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, we believe we are children of God and brothers and sisters to each other. We see it to be of great importance to personally care for each other and we seek to live actively as disciples of Christ to bring him glory where we live. Jesus lived, worked, ate and played among the people in such a way that those around him could see and experience what God was truly like. In the same way, we believe we are ambassadors sent into our culture to bring the message of the Gospel. We believe we are also called to be followers of Jesus who take responsibility for our own development and the discipleship of others.
How We Live
We seek to build Foundations of loving relationships, an all-church prayer base and a proper view of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We do this by reaching out to our neighbors and co-workers to create family with them.
We seek to develop Ministry Training so that people in our church will be equipped to serve Christ through the skills and talents that He has given us.
We seek to create opportunities for Group Outreach to our neighbors with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve our community with the humility of Jesus Christ.
We seek to Multiply Leaders in our church so that the transformed life of Jesus is demonstrated and perpetuated in our community.
