There are so many exciting things going on in Issaquah, all the time. As a church family in this fast-moving environment, it can become daunting to reach the needs of such a complex city. It seems that we are left scampering to find our voice and our niche among all the voices that clamor in our community. One of the toughest things for us to do is to figure out ONE thing that we can do to help those around us. Philosophers say quotes like “If you’ve said 10 things, then you’ve really said nothing at all”. We need to find singular focus to help and love our community in a concise and intentional way. Enter the Gospel Community group...
Since there are different needs in every neighborhood of Issaquah, we can meet those different needs with a different, small, intentionally-minded group of people, i.e. a GC. Let’s continue thinking, brainstorming and listening to the needs of those that are around us and we just might find ourselves in the middle of a high-potential team meeting those needs. No strings attached, let’s love our community because of Jesus.
